Privacy Policy

Information you give us directly

When you fill out a form on the Site, you're choosing to share information with us so we can respond. Specifically:

• Event Inquiry Form — name, email, phone number, event type, guest count, event date, and any event details you write in.
• Contact form — name, email address, and your message.

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, prepare a catering estimate, and communicate with you about your event or question. We store submissions in our database and also send them to our own inbox by email (via our email provider, Resend) so we don't miss a request. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are viewed and roughly how visitors found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and may collect your IP address (which we've configured to be anonymized), browser and device type, and general location (city/region level). We use this in aggregate to improve the Site; we don't use it to identify you personally.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using your browser's private/incognito mode or cookie-blocking settings.

Third-party services we use

We rely on a small number of outside services to run the Site. Here's what each one does and what it can see:

• Google Analytics — site usage analytics, as described above.
• Google Places — displays our public Google rating and reviews on the Site. This pulls publicly available review data from Google; it does not give us access to any personal Google account information about you.
• Google Calendar — powers the "Find the Truck" schedule page from a calendar we maintain. It does not involve your personal information.
• Resend — our transactional email provider, used to send you a confirmation when you submit the Event Inquiry Form, and to notify us of new inquiries and messages.
• MongoDB — our database host, used to securely store form submissions.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies set by Google Analytics for the purposes described above. We don't use cookies for advertising or to track you across other websites.

Data retention

We keep event inquiries and contact messages for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and maintain our business records, and may retain them longer where needed for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see "Your choices" below.

How we protect your information

Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored in an access-controlled database. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected] or calling (208) 918-3711. We'll respond as promptly as we can.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
